The charm of this design is in the "Twinkling Stars", because they are in contrasting solid colours they shine. This quilt has solid navy and dusty blue stars. The dramatic colours used in the rest of the quilt are all prints - tan to navy. The tan is splashed with very tiny white leaves that give it a lacey look. The deepest navy has fine, light blue, lines running through it that gives it movement. The quilting is of the highest standards. The backing is in plain dusty blue. The quilt is bound in one of the goldish prints found on the front of the quilt. |
