The striking colours and quality hand quilting make this quilt a Showpiece! The "Center Medallion" on this quilt is made with a blotchy black print, a rich terra cotta print and a tone-on-tone off white print. The Medallion is set inside a "Feathered Star" made of rich terra cotta prints. We used a vibrant fabric containing a mix of terra cotta, orange, black, brown and gold to frame the Center Medallion. That same print is used in the zig zag of the large border and in the smaller outside border. The binding is the blotchy black print and the backing is a plain light gold.
