The soft pastel flower print with the contrast of the green lattice makes this quilt very striking. The lattice work that weaves through-out the flowered background is of plain dusty green and a darker green. This gives the lattice work lots of punch or contrast with the background of soft coloured flowers. We have hand quilted additional flowers and leaves into the finished quilt. A wave of hand quilting is also evident in the colourful border. We bound the quilt in the same pastel colour print so the colour flows to the very edge. The backing is the same plain dusty green used in the lattice.
